I posted a review of this on Edelweiss I think. Moving the book down from a 5 star to a 3 star because after about a year of contemplation, I realized that this book wasn’t as good as I originally thought. All of the worldbuilding, the plot twists, the perfectly crafted plot that Jay brought in books one and two that had me on the edge of my seat. Gone in Darkdawn. Everything became predictable and expected. The climax did not give me any kind of rush, it was just like “oh.. okay”. I dunno. I wanted more but it was ultimately a disappointment to the end of a really great series. Maybe one day I’ll reread and rethink but , I dunno. It was just okay.

Mimo, że zabawa wciąż dobra, to jednak nie mogę dać ponownie 4,5 tak jak poprzednim częściom.
Nie jestem fanką scen erotycznych w tej książce, dla mnie są one niepotrzebne (ewentualnie jedną/dwie bym przebolała, ale niestety jest ich dużo więcej). Książka na tym niestety traci, bo Kristoff marnuje czas i strony na pisanie scen, które nie wnoszą nic do rozwoju postaci. Szczególnie jednej:

Nie wierzę w wielką miłość Mii i Ash. Ich relacja polega głównie na seksie przez co ich uczucia nie są wystarczająco dobrze uzasadnione i trudno uwierzyć w to "wielkie uczucie", które autor chce oddać.
i never write reviews for books but this one inspired me to write one. this series broke my heart and put it back together WAY TOO MANY TIMES. i have had so many heart attacks and the plot twists??? literally perfect
my favorite books are the ones that make you feel all the emotions and this one really did. i laughed and cried and wanted to throw my book every page but i loved every second of it!
i tried to write down every time i cried but i gave up because there were too many. most of the time there was no reason for me to cry this book just made me so emotional for no reason??? THIS SERIES RUINED MY LIFE BUT I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE EVER.
this is definitely one of my favorite series ever and part of me feels empty now that it’s over. i love the characters more than anything AND this has one of my favorite couples to ever exist. MIA OWNS ME AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH. she is my favorite mc ever after aelin definitely.

Why did it take me so long to finish out this series????! Omg this series was so fucking epic!!!!! Like there are no other words to describe my love for Mia and her familia!
