So that's the reason for all the hype. Wahaha. Sadie is the first thriller I've ever read. Mysterious, stimulating, and a little heartbreaking. My only complaint is that the flashbacks can sometimes make the narrative redundant. But overall, I had a blast. Ugh. That ending, though. I need answers! XD

If you like watching/listening to true crime videos/podcasts, Sadie's story feels so realistic it's frightening. It's dark, sometimes I need to take a break from reading, or turn to audiobook version so I can fly through the intense parts (no graphic details described but the emotions... heartbreaking).

If one day you cross path with someone like Sadie, please listen to her. Please try to understand her. Please don't leave her alone.

Decent book. Just not sure if I'm much of a thriller person. Definitely recommend the audiobook if you do listen to it though!

Done so well. Does not sensationalize but portrays broken lives. Devasting. Haunting. This is YA and I was surprised how dark it could be. So accurate in how children are vulnerable and how adults can manipulate. Ends as it should.
