I heard sooooo many good things about this book and I was ready to love it.
While I liked the premise (Hades/Persephone modern retelling, romance), it lacked world building and depth. I wanted to know more about their world, see more of their relationship, learn more about the 13....but those details were all left out, instead, we are just 'told' the way it is. I did like how the author showed consent, but overall just didn't really connect with the story.
