I’ve read a couple of this authors books before. So I knew what I was getting into. The way she can totally take you in a direction that you could no way see coming, is amazing. Since I knew from her previous books that she makes a very unpredictable twist at the end, I was really trying to figure it out before it happened. But nope! She got me again! Didn’t see that one coming. Very good storytelling.

My initial impression upon reading the synopsis of the book was somethong that involves a marriage that starts to crumble. I was wrong! This book is more than a dysfunctional marriage. This book is about investigation, discovery, revenge and eventually, redemption. My favorite Kiersten Modglin book so far.
