Honestly, I half listened to this audiobook. I maybe shouldn’t have listened while it feels America is at its worst, but it also reminded me that the lie that America used to be great is not so true. It’s filled with a DARK past full of corruption and violence. Heavy, but necessary book imo.

really good really hard!! really sad!!!

highly recommend but not as an audiobook - sort of just felt like listening to a history textbook which is fine if that’s for you but it wasn’t for me.
