The story is cute. A fun quick read between my dark romances. Once the heat gets turned up between Cynthia and Griffin, it scorches. But let’s be honest, Comet stole the show. Story has grumpy/sunshine vibes with forced proximity. I didn’t read the blurb before reading so the toys were a surprise for me. I may have enjoyed it more because of it.

This book was cute and quirky. Cyn decided to be dumb and took a different way home in the woods. After almost dying she wakes up in a mystery cabin with a hot guy and cute dog in it. She ends up in his *toy* shop and she gets all cutely fluster talking to Griffin. Since she can't leave due to the storm they make a deal to help them get through the week and by the end neither wants her to go.
