An absolutely beautiful, dense, layered novel that I often had trouble putting down. ThereÕs so much I loved about this bookÑthe Afro-Indigenous history, its implicit and explicit Black feminist/womanist perspectives, and unforgettable characters whose storylines made me feel the full gamut of emotions. Will definitely reread at some point in the future.
