Charlotte's prose is full of color and allusion with a quip or reference at every corner. Jane is the character of the novel as she lives toe to toe with a cast of personalities. She is a sense of justice and self-determination. She is the creature in her house.

It's been a while since a book kept me up late into the night. Charlotte, you are a marvelous storyteller! But with that said, Wuthering Heights still remains my favorite Bronte novel - for the time being at least!
