I love historical queer romances, I love urban fantasy, I like a murder mystery. This ticks all the boxes, has absolutely fantastic banter, and was an excellent ride from start to finish.

I really enjoyed this story. It was quick, simple, and I cared about the characters involved. I look forward to continuing the series.

I really enjoyed the setup of this story but it didn't hold my attention at all in the middle.
There were too many options for who it could have been that was trying to kill dudeface (Crane) and we didn't know any of them so I really didn't care who did it.
There wasn't enough interesting dialogue or interaction between dudeface and Stephen.

Spoiler

I did like the way the tattoo's moved at the end, that was pretty cool.

I won't be continuing with the series.
