This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. It kept me engaged until the very last page. It was one of those books that you think about when you aren't reading it and can't wait to get back to. I enjoyed the suspense, the magic and the emotion of the book. If you enjoy fantasy mixed with mystery then you will love this book too.

I tend to read a handful of books all at once. Due to this craziness I usually have a book that is somewhat of a filler. Don't Breathe a Word is that book in my current group, being a novel for a younger audience; easy to read, set down at any point, and be able to pick it back up any time makes this a solid choice for a filler.
The story takes you into a child's fairy land and makes you feel young again for a minute, stirring up your imagination. Perhaps a good bedtime read for a little sister.

I absolutely adore Jennifer McMahon's books. They are so creepy and realistic. I stayed up WAAAYY too late last night reading this book and freaking myself out. It was seriously messed up, scary and absolutely bizarre. I can't wait for the next one!
