This was an interesting read. I had some trouble getting through it, especially the first half. The book is telling a big story with very little plot. It made me slow down. That made it a different reading experience.

That was really well done and the execution was splendid. However, the theme about monsters not looking different fell a little flat since 
the monster got mutilated
