Fun and informative read. Love the setting in Portugal. Blue doesn’t explain book well. Not what I expected.

Honestly I found it boring... It hooked me in the beginning but the story was becoming very drawn out, similar situations happening one after another. This WWII story did not grasp the severity of the historical event taking place. I just found myself rolling my eyes or having to reread the same sentence three times because my mind was wandering... And I decided, you know what, dnf... 😐

This wasn't at all what I was expecting. I definitely did judge a book by its cover, and went in thinking fantastical and wizardy. It is most definitely not that. Set in war times, it is a historical fiction book.
This is the story of Laura, who finds herself lost in her life and kind of stuck in a different country. She eventually finds her place and purpose and it's interesting getting to hear how her story plays out.
