Those kittens didn't stand a chance

His name is Eduardo Benicio de la Marta Castanza Delgado, Yuñior. The first-born son of the Fer de Lance of Colombia, the eldest grandson of Eleon and Anya Fernandez, the cattle baron of Argentina, the Bocaracá, the chameleon of the Conclave of the American Vipers. Those kittens stood no chance against the sociopath with homicidal tendencies. He learned how to read human behavior from the men in the cartel and his crazy father, the Czar of Columbia. There were long-lived traditions in the cartel that must be abided by that was okay with Yuñior until he met the love of his life Diadra Parsons. She understood everything about him and knew what he needed before he did. She soothed his soul. There was no way he could honor his contract to marry another woman in a year. A woman who irritated the hell out of him within minutes of being in her presence.

Everyone loved Diadra. Eduardo Sr. loved her after she took Tonda down. Even Andres and Tonda wanted a Didi. She took Anya under her wing to help her understand her job. She was totally in love with Yuñior but refused to be his side piece and she stood her ground with that.

I just love this entire series. Olivia really knows how to tell a story. Her sense of humor is perfect. Andres had me cracking up and Isabella was so cute. She just loves her big brother Yuñior and Tim was extra as usual. My heart broke for Tonda but I think he will be okay. I wanted Millicent to throw Irena from the plane. That woman was irritating. I don't blame Yuñior for not wanting her, but he read her the riot act. He maneuvered and schemed and dropped just the right tidbits for him to get what he wanted, and that was Diadra and their HEA. With Diadra in his life, the kittens are safe... for now. I can't wait to see what kind of woman will end up with Andres.
