I loved this book. I've enjoyed the other books in the finishing school series, but this was my favorite so far. Characters that I've enjoyed in the first three books have a more established roll in this one. There are some wonderful surprises and some great scenes of action. I'm not sure how I started reading this series, since steampunk isn't really my thing, but I'm glad I did. Well worth it!

Finally the end of the series, and I am left with a giant hole in my heart. Unlike most series Manners and Mutiny left the audience with a bang! The adventure and action were high in this one and we were really able to see the character of Sophronia bloom into a wonderful spy. Loving the mix of the supernatural elements and of course the romantic surprises.

I really enjoyed this final installment of the Finishing School series. It felt sufficiently epic and had a lovely happy ending. If you are looking for a fun, steampunk series about girls learning to be spies then you should pick this one up! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While I didn't love this book as much as I have the previous ones, it was a solid finale to the series. Sophronia was great as always, but Dimity was the star in this book for me. The plot was great and wrapped up all the loose ends quite neatly.

I must say this fourth and final installment of the finishing School series was wonderfully satisfying. Action, intrigue, revelations, destruction, romance, and (of course) high fashion filled its pages. It was quite, as Sophronia would say, the thing.
I particularly liked the little tie ins to Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series. It makes me want to go back and reread those delicious little bodice-rippers.
Over all, Manners & Mutiny might just be my favorite book in this eccentrically charming series. If you're into steampunk with a less than serious side, this might be just up your alley.

A fun ending to the series (and a nice tie-in to the Soulless series there too, at the end).

"Pickled herring was, in the end, a hugely suspicious food."

What a lovely end to the series. This book was probably a little faster-paced than the first three, but maybe it was just the culmination that made it feel that way?

Looking back on all of it, my favorite characters were Vieve and Soap. I don't think it has to do with relating to either of them as much as hoping they would both get everything they wanted. I'm looking forward to rereading the [b:Soulless|6381205|Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1)|Gail Carriger|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1314020848s/6381205.jpg|6569140] series now!

A perfect ending to the Finishing school series, definitely going to pick up Carriger's other books
