Wonderful story of two who initially can't stand each other which turns into a love they can't escape. Literally had tears in my eyes at the end. One of the best HEA's I've read.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. This book was absolutely amazing, I immediately connected with Grace and felt immersed into this book through every turn. The culture of Ireland and Kerry brought this book to life. I was unable to put this book down, the chemistry between the characters was insane, and you will not be disappointed as you start on Grace's journey.

Some parts were good, I loved Kerry and The chemistry between her and our pov Grace. The sex scenes were hot, but some could have been..longer or something. And a bit more variations. But all of this would have made the book 4 stars. But there were a lot of boring scenes about the town that didn’t crab me. So I skipped a lot of pages. That’s why I give it 2,8 stars.

The story was cute. The audiobook.... The narrator/actor cannot pull an Irish accent off to save her life.

Rather disappointing. The sex is good, the rest not so much.

I've enjoyed Kris Bryant's other stories, but this one didn't grab me. It's a nice romance, but nothing happens that you can't see coming from miles away. I honestly knew how the book would end before I finished the first chapter.

The characters are likeable enough, but because it's told in first person you really only get a clear picture of Grace, I'd have preferred more of an idea of where Kerry was coming from.

There's very little tension in the book (other than the contrived angst that colours their first few meetings). Most of the rest of the angst stems from the (overly repeated) knowledge that they live in two different places and Grace will have to return home.

The supporting characters aren't given much to do (and honestly one of the most intriguing was Kerry's high school rival, but it doesn't get followed up). Grace's over the top love affair with all things Irish also had me rolling my eyes.

There's nothing bad here, just nothing of any real substance. Even though the leads spend quite a bit of time together (over an initially short period) I still didn't buy into their insta-relationship. And once they started sleeping together, that's pretty much all they did. That made the book go faster, as I skimmed through most of the last third.

I was also slightly irritated by the lack of contractions in the writing, the formality kept taking me out of the story. This is an alright way to spend a few hours, but I enjoyed her other books more. If you haven't read her novels before I suggest starting with Jolt, it's my favourite.

So workaholic Dallas girl, Grace inherits a flower shop in Ireland. Grace decides to fly to Ireland and hire hot Irish real estate agent, Kerry. Planning selling the flower shop quickly and returning to her all consuming job in Dallas. Kerry of course makes this very difficult. I have to say after reading this one, I am a little bit in love with Kerry. This was five stars from start to finish for me. This isn't one you want to miss.

Sweet romance based mainly in Ireland between Kerry, an Irish real estate agent, and Grace, an advertising firm executive who inherits a flower shop in Ireland. All the elements of a typical romance novel are present: tricky first encounter, breathtaking chemistry, hot steamy sex and beautiful romance. It is a bit predictable but it just hits the right note all the way. You get what it says on the tin.

However, as an Irish resident for almost a decade (and married to an Irish "lassie"), my only concern is the accuracy of some of the author's statements about Ireland. For example, Irish DO call soccer as Americans do, to distinguish it from Gaelic football which is called football for short. Also, her descriptions of Irish weather are very optimistic even for April standards. But this is me being a bit picky and for the non-Irish readers is going to be irrelevant. In fairness, her landscape descriptions are beautiful and picturesque.

Overall, a very good read if you are looking for a sweet romance. 4 stars
