It was interesting to hear Britney’s side of her story but the writing was not compelling at all for me - it felt very basic and shallow. The story also does not focus much on her rise to fame but mostly acts as her defense to the public for why she did what she did at different points in her career and to out her family for their horrible actions against her. It’s a sad story, I feel for her and I’m glad she’s happier now; but, I feel the story could have been told in a much better way.

How does one rate or review a book like this? Glad Britney shared her story and got out of that conservatorship! It is unthinkable to fathom what she has been through during this time

3.5 Stars.

I don't typically read autobiographies but I figured I would check this out as I grew up listening to Britney Spears and I knew there was much more to her story.

If you are going to read it I definitely recommend the audio version as it was done very well.

incredibly sad and utterfly infuriating (and not because of the bad writing)
