This book is a very loose Cinderella retelling meets the Bachelor. Cindy just graduated with a degree in fashion but no job prospects. Some family connections helps land her on Before Midnight, where she’ll be competing with other girls for the mystery suitor’s affection.

A cute twist on Cinderella. And I’m so glad that she loves her step mom and step sisters. When they were introduced I was afraid there would be something negative there, but their relationship is great.

Story is fairly predictable, but that’s what I’m looking for when I read this type of book.

Really fun read! I felt like it started to move to quickly, especially the ending. I definitely would have loved more! Overall, it was really fun and eye-opening to read from a more diverse perspective than the typical skinny but also has curves romance character. The writing is relatable and smooth, and I definitely recommend.

This was a really cute read with a really likeable protagonist. My only real complaint is the ending. It came totally out of nowhere, didn't really match Cindy's character and
was a really big dick move. Was there no other outcome besides humiliating your love interest on national television for basically no reason? Why would you just assume none of it was real when he strongly implied it was? It doesn't make sense to me.
