If you're looking for a tearjerker, look no further than this book. This is a raw depiction of grief and losing a parent at a young age. Tyler recounts the events of her mother's cancer when she started college through illustrations, we learn about who Rhonda Feder was and what legacy she left behind before her passing. This was a humorous yet dark graphic memoir about a young girl losing her mother to cancer. It is a graphic depiction of grief and what I loved most was how Feder shared every aspect of grief with us especially the page on "Dos and Donts for Dealing with a Grieving Person". Though this memoir does share Feder's experience with grief, it also shares tips on how to help someone who is grieving which I really appreciated.
Feder is also Jewish and shares how the mourning and grieving process is done in Jewish culture.

This book made me sob but also reflect on my own personal grief.  So, if you're looking for a good cry or a good book about grief, I recommend this! I did read the graphic novel but also listened to the audiobook and would recommend both.
