This memoir was a very insightful look at grief and the loss of a loved one. I liked the graphic novel format, it made a more difficult topic feel more accessible. I enjoyed seeing Tyler's different relationships. I would recommend, a great read.

This graphic novel strikes just the right balance between being heartfelt and emotional but also lighthearted and hopeful. It so accurately depicts the mixed emotions that come with death of a family member and what it is like to go through the grieving process. It is never kitschy or trying to hard, but is honest and funny in some places. Highly recommend this book!

This is a wonderful book to read for anyone. If they have experienced a loss, they will relate. If they have not, they will have a better understanding of people with losses.
Tyler Feder did such a wonderful job of sharing a blunt and authentic experience of losing her mother to cancer, but with their soft and warm illustration, everything feels better at the end of the day.
I mark this as a good grief book comparable to Crying in Hmart by Michelle Zauner: similar stories, totally different style of storytelling, both superb.
