This book was full of cliches and I couldn't even finish it. I picked this book because a video about creativity recommended. As a person who enjoys writing, I didn't like the way Elizabeth Gilbert is constantly talking about herself and her success about "Eat Pray Love".

The first pages were nice since she addressed fears and how fears are affecting people in general. However, then the book got messy and she pointed out a lot about unnecessary stuff such as her well-known friends or whatsoever. Also, it got me anxious because, by the time I was reading Big Magic, I was working on a project that I hadn't touched for 2 years. Elizabeth Gilbert said the creativity can abandon you if you do not put the effort at the right time, and she had an experience where her novel idea left her after 2 years of not picking up writing the novel. Even though she is kind of right about it, her words got me anxious anyways.

To conclude, the book got really boring and I had to quit reading it. I guess these types of books never actually work for me.
