If I’m being honest — I’m not quite sure how to approach this review of ”Fire & Blood” since it reads as more of a historical text at times rather than a traditional novel — but I will say that I enjoyed learning more about House Targaryen & I also thoroughly enjoyed the art that accompanied the text!

It was frustrating at times — not getting the truth of the tale — but I do understand that approach from GRRM.

The book is written like a history book. People got together, looked back on multiple accounts and wrote the story of the Targaryen over the course of 150 years. It's slow-paced but excellent.
