Of course I want twow, but this book was amazing on its own! George’s writing was so captivating and made even history be emotional. I never was a huge fan of the Targaryens but now there’s at least a few of them I really do enjoy. It was a great read and I can’t wait for George to finally drop twow next!

Came for the Dance of the Dragons, stayed for everything else. I was somewhat disappointed with the dance itself, as I expected more (but man, it had its moments. Blood and Cheese, am I right?), but I *loved* the times before the dance. Could have read more about that tbh.

This is a good book, and I really like it, I found myself interested in the Targaryen history despite the fact that I absolutely did not like Dany in GoT from the start. I'm DNF-ing this book only because it is a bit too dry for my taste just now, and because I really want to reread GoT instead. So that's that. This is a great book, I happened to pick it up at the wrong time.
