Overall, I enjoyed the book! The ending felt a little abrupt for my liking but I liked the story and queer love. I think I would’ve liked to have some story lines flushed out a little bit more because I was invested in them. Tearing up at the end of course!

This is one of the most beautiful novels I’ve ever read. My heart is full and I am sobbing. I believe whole heartedly that we are all one in this universe and that it’s our duty to love one another. So I think that romantic love - where we can bear our whole soul and be seen and held - is the best part of this world. It’s our duty to be our best selves, to find and maintain our best selves, and to be that person to the people who we love. To be who we’re meant to be in this world. And this novel addressed all of that in stunning prose set against the backdrop of some of the first female astronauts in NASA, in a sapphic love story. The story was well-paced, tension-filled, and not at all cliche. The characters were lived in and the world was breathed in. I hope that people of all sexualities read this book. Because it’s not “just” a romance. It’s also about courage and feminism and familial love and chosen family and friendship and how to be selfless and how to stand up for yourself and what exactly we’re all doing here on this planet. And I think the author and I agree that we’re here to love. Which is so, so beautiful. This novel is a gift to the world & I’m so happy to have read it.
