An innovative concept that shook me to my core. Horrific descriptions and deeply disturbing scenes. Not my cup of tea, however, I credit the author in their ability to shock.

The subject matter and imagery in this book made me feel very uncomfortable at times. The pacing of the book is fast, i was sucked in and i couldn't put it down. Read this in 2 sittings.

Some good ideas, not “fleshed” out (lol). Lots of time spent on stuff that didn’t seem to matter. I thought the descriptions of the plant were frightening and well crafted, but everything outside of that was a bit boring.
