3.5 stars - I do think this book was a bit better than the first but not by much. It’s still kind of boring in places and some of the story clunky with random things happening in places. I like the fact it’s a female killer and a female spy but you can tell it’s been written by a guy in places. Have the third book already so will read it just to finish the series but so far the books haven’t lived up to my expectations.

After reading Codename Villanelle, I wasn't that excited to start No Tomorrow. This book is much better than the first, but still didn't "wow" me until the end.

The writing flowed much better, and the story line and characters were more interesting, especially now that Villanelle and Eve are interacting. I love Eve's character development and how she gets to see a different side of her that she never knew existed. It leaves you wondering if Eve will act upon her dark side or leave it up to Villanelle.

Sadly, the ending was spoiled for me, but boy do I love a plot twist. I was sad about the season 4 finale of the TV series because
Spoilerthe gays finally got what we wanted, then it was ripped right out of our hands.
I'm curious to see what the third book will entail, and what the future holds for Villanelle and Eve's relationship.

A curious rating of 3.5 :)

okay, this was a lot better than the first one. it all kinda came together at the end, and no spoilers, but I the cliffhanger ending was v intriguing. I definitely feel more compelled to read the next book than I did at the end of the first

you can still tell it’s written by a man and it’s very big on the male gaze type stuff, but that’s got better too so yay
