God, I love Maki so much.

5 stars - I loved it!

In this volume we switch to Maki and Noritoshi. These two end up fighting a worm-like cursed spirit who is revealed to be a former foe of Maki’s. This was a great battle that really showed how far Maki has come. We see her struggle a bit in the beginning, but with the help of a fellow player and his Sumo domain expansion, she learns how to be free and utilize all her abilities. She is now an even more deadly fighter and is on par with Toji Zen’in, which is kind of awesome. I really can’t wait to see more of her in the future, she is one of my favorite characters now. 

Also I love that Maki figured out her shit by doing sumo. It was random but great. I love how we are seeing so many different types of characters and domain expansions.

Reading Fight scenes confuse me at times. By the end I was able to figure out what was happening. The ending was a good cliffhanger
