I really liked her long and practical list of self-care ideas for introverted moms.

This book was just wonderful. I jumped into it with incredibly high expectations, and it did not disappoint! Books, encouragement, tea - I’m convinced the author and I would be kindred spirits if we ever met ❤️ I highly recommend this book to any introverted mom in the thick of it all.

I liked parts of this book. I’m definitely an introverted mom- and even a Christian- which this book was focused on. (Even though it wasn’t mentioned on the back of the book.) A solid 3.

3.5 ⭐️ I wish I would have read this book 20 years ago. Instead, I spent years feeling guilty and like a bad wife/mother. There weren't a lot of practical tips for me, mainly because I'd figured a lot of it out through trial and error. But, if I hadn't had years of learning things the hard way, I'd have appreciated the practical suggestions. What I really took away from this book was a feeling of relief that how I am, is just how I am. It's not a character flaw. It helped me shed years of built up daily guilt.

Where was this book when my kids were little?

You must read this book. I laughed, I cried, I cringed when I recognized my struggles splayed all across the pages for the world to see.... Introverted Mon is part manifesto, part how to guide . With encouragement and.humor, Jamie guides you toward a path of understanding yourself better, eliminating Mom.y built once and for all, and so much more. I cannot praise this book highly enough. Definitely one of my favorites for 2020.

Although I consider myself an ambivert, I enjoyed this book. It reads similar to a memoir of the author’s life with bits of suggestions thrown in. My husband is an introvert so I appreciated learning a bit about how he might feel in different situations. I also learned a bit of practical advice regarding how I can manage the introverted parts of myself. This book is heavily Christian.

Sigh. I love this book. I love knowing that being an (highly!) introverted mom is okay and that there are plenty of others out there like me.
