I was interested in learning about these characters but this felt a little too much like reading a textbook and not enough storytelling. The author had humor but ultimately I was bored.

4 // knowing me and my general love and borderline obsession for classics/literature/film research on female archetypes and their differing depictions/perceptions especially based on their author (and said author's own identity) - this was 100% up my alley and an entertaining accompaniment on walks and spring cleaning

looking forwards to hopefully reading more haynes in the future
