I adore this book. What a strange and lovely tale. Beautiful and mysterious. You may enjoy it more if you’re open to the idea that a human life is a gift full of unanswerable questions.

The concept this book is based on is outstanding yet it lacked some key pieces of execution (for me).

What I absolutely loved about this book was the common thread that people are genuinely nice and helpful. Kindness between humans is commonplace in the writing and I love that. Kindness was lacking between humans and animals and I didn’t like that.

The storytelling is good and pace was also good.

The book ended with too many loose ends which removed two stars for me. I simply prefer explanations or at least directional information that is satisfying.
slow-paced

invisible life of addie larue meets Piranesi . Follows the lifelong journey of Aubry, a woman with a condition who cannot stay in the same place for more than a few days without falling violently ill. She fiercely transverses the globe to stay alive, but more importantly learn what it means to truly live. Fell a bit flat for me but quite the effervescent journey.
