Read for school. The story was kinda good but was also kinda boring and the language was hard to understand.

I love reading classics with a profound cultural impact. Romeo and Juliet is not my favourite Shakespeare play, but it is much more nuanced than you can give most of its adaptations credit for. You get the rising feeling that Romeo's and Juliet's death are unjust and tragic but also unnecessary. They're young, their love the kind of first time puppy love that's not too deep but nevertheless leads to reckless decisions because everything is new. But I guess that's what you need to end a decades long feud.

¿No tendrán Romeo y Julieta el mayor insta love de la historia? Osea se miran una vez y se enamoran, al día siguiente se casan y ese mismo día Romeo es desterrado por matar, en defensa propia, al primo de Julieta. Una vida más trágica que la de estos muchachos imposible.

Por último, el final que todos conocen me ha parecido más fuerte aún y que conlleve a algo bonito, dentro de lo que cabe, me ha sorprendido ya que sus muertes hacen que las familias Capuleto y Montesco dejen de estar enfrentadas de una vez por todas sin razón alguna.

En definitiva, un clásico en el que todo, y no solo el final, es trágico para Romeo y Julieta.
