This was quite good, once you could understand the language. I did start to wonder: if Shakespeare had written this in this generation, would he be accused of lazy writing because he didn't even really take time for Romeo and Juliet to get to know one another?
Mercutio was my favourite. I wasn't vey happy about his fate; even Shakespeare manages to kill my favourite characters.

RESUME : Romeo is sad because his crush won't fuck with him has sworn chastity
He then act like the typical teenager with a broken hearth : falls into a deep depression while saying that he will never recover from this and that he will NEVER fall in love again... to then proced to fall for the first passerby 5 min later(I can say that, I am a teenager), a passerby that is by the way 13 YEARS OLD...this time it's reciprocated, good news I guess...So Romeo proceds to seduce Juliet (that's her name) with some poetry, which obviously works because she is 13 years old (I felt like i needed to remind you). BUT, Unfortunaly their families hate each other (OooOOoOoOoh I know right it's giving forbidden romance, it's giving dramaaaa). So, is it going to end well ? Of course no it's a rebond relationship they endup doing double suicide ! isn't that fun ? Dazai must be really jealous right now (if you have the reference, I LOVE YOU)

the classic story that everyone has heard of. I loved all the sex jokes
I actually didn't like this book to much because love at first sight does not exist. I would never completely devote myself to a guy that I had only seen once at a party. even if I was thirteen. there is something strangely disgusting about their love, and I don't know why people like Taylor Swift want a love like Romeo and Juliet, I mean they die. yeah for each other, but they didn't really know each other long enough to know if they really loved each other.
I guess I'm just a skeptic, but reading about ditzy juliet and whiny Romeo did not make me want to fall in love any time soon. especially if it leads to my death. cool

This is the saddest thing I have ever read. It was so good and I can definitely tell why this has survived the test of time. Shakespeare really knew what he was doing.
