rip mercutio, you would have loved stan twitter

It was a little bland at the beginning but then the story started to unfold and it was an incredible, multidimensional read with love and tragedy (of course). Definitely an experience.

Looking back on it I can see it is way overrated.

Nope, absolutely not.

Romeo & Juliet is so emo.

This book wasn’t my favorite but it is an epic story nonetheless.

a classic, fun, symbolic, interesting story but seriously they just met and then they stupidly (seriously they should have worked out the logistical issues and should wait a little longer before over reacting) die for each other.

This was so boring and I will never understand with we are forced to read this "classic" (I stopped listening to the teacher and decided to be a class-clown in 9th grade in English because I was just that bored (I threw a shoe at someone also))

Though I didn’t love all of their modern language interpretations, it’s a good introduction to the play with quality analysis questions in the back.
