I did it, I freaking did it. I finally finished. This book was better than the entire series it’s apart of. So much packed into one book. Way too many POVs for my liking but what do you do about that by book 7? I loved so many characters. Aelin is such a bad ass and I want to be her 😂😂😂 but also Yrene is QUEEEENNNNN, after what she did I can’t believe people still think TOD was boring. She and Chaol are my favorite. I teared up when Yrene and Aelin met. I also loved Manon’s character development. I really wanted her and Dorian to be together in the end which I’m sure they are but come on!!! I was also sad that everybody went back to their homes…. Can’t we all just live together in Terrassen? I loved how many of the characters had their own secrets and cards to play at different points in the story, kept me on my toes. Also, Maeve’s illusions drove me wild. I was like PLEASE NO TWILIGHT, this can’t be fake!!!! And thank goodness it never was.

Overall, fantastic book, great series but boy am I glad to be done!! 😅😅😅
