Where do I start. This story starts very dark with Willow working at 16 at a strip  club to cover her debts frok.her druggie father that just past. A powerful man buys her and takes her to marry. For 10 years, she has been physically and mentally tortured. She has a child with him and finally escapes him before he kills her. She searches for her one relative who told her to find her one day in Briar Valley. In London, there is a secluded town where people need to hide, recover, or be away from society's lives. Willow and her daughter barely make it there, but they find her grandma Lola. Soon, Killian and his 2 cousins fall for her and try to make a life through her trauma. There were a lot of dark thoughts in this book, not just from Willow but from the guys and the townspeople, everyone trying to make a new light. There are still so many secrets. This book was way too long, especially since it's book one. I felt like 40% of the book was a lot of filler. But she reeled me back in with the ending. All of the men are very different, which I always love as a why choose. Micah has my heart watching him go through his own mental health and thrn seeing Killian and Zach start to slowly get him back as well. Steamy scenes for sure, but beware first book ends on cliffhanger.

REVIEW: WHERE BROKEN WINGS FLY BY J ROSE
REVIEW: 4/5 ⭐️

SYNOPSIS: I’m on the run. Desperate and afraid.

After breaking free from the gilded cage of my abusive marriage, I have nothing to my name but a letter from a long-lost relative.

Come home, Willow. Your family is waiting for you.

I sacrificed everything to flee for the tiny town of Briar Valley and its promise of a better life for my young daughter.

Hope often takes the unlikeliest of forms, but I didn’t expect to find it nestled among the rugged, snow-capped mountains. Nor did I intend to surrender my heart to three tortured mountain men, hiding from their own grief in the thick forest of pine trees.

Briar Valley offers a home to all lost things, but at what cost? I have to make an impossible choice. Do I spend the rest of my life running from the demons in my past, or should I risk it all in the name of love?

i read this book in 1 day & it was nearly 500 pages

I’m contemplating whether or not I should read the second book because this was not good but not bad except for the fact that it all seems too rushed.

Edit (hours later): I’m no longer going to be reading the second book.
