Good premise and started out well, and then…the “twist.” Infuriating stuff.

I SOLID supernatural thriller in the vein of early 2000s thrillers like Sam Raimi’s THE GIFT or WHAT LIES BENEATH. It was a gripping and fun read that I couldn’t put down.

Creeps me out too much at the moment. Probably a good book if I'd enjoy horror more.

I’m not sure how I feel about this story. It was very unique and took a turn I didn’t expect, but I didn’t love the “supernatural” aspect of the story, unfortunately.

Mallory gets a job as a live in nanny for a wealthy family. The little boy she wAtches loves to draw and starts off with typical stick figures. As the book progresses, these drawings get more and more sinister.

I freaking FLEW THROUGH this book, reading it in two sittings. I couldn't put it down. When I finished, I started back from the beginning looking at the drawings in the book. I read mostly thrillers, and I've never read anything like this book. I guarantee, you won't see any twists coming. Easy five stars for me. I hope he writes another thriller.
