So quick to get through, and though it was short, it was interesting and a little creepy which I enjoyed. I just didn’t feel too connected with the story, but did have some fun with it even though it was no Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Yay for this being my last title of 2022, and also my 84th of the year, completing my reading challenge! (If you couldn’t tell, I chose this 20 page “book” as a last resort for my reading challenge, and I quite frankly do not care :) ).

My first book of 2019's Spooktober reads, which I most definitely started a few weeks early because it's my favorite time of the year!
I decided to start with a few short stories and the first one was The Body Snatcher. I somehow never got around to reading this and I just thought it was okay. I found it super interesting that this story was based on real life events, but I didn't really get into the actual story.
2.5/5 stars.

So, it's not a sci-fi grotesque body-horror "invasion of the body snatchers" type thing. It's a boring story about pretensious doctors robbing graves and feeling bad about murdering people, yet it's told as a flashback after a like five pages intro in a tavern in a tiny village? Man your short story has 15 pages, don't spend five pages on NOT the main story!
