Wow did I enjoy this so much more than I planned! I'm not much of a shoujo fan, but something about the art and description of this one intrigued me and I am so glad I read it. The main girl, for once, is not frustratingly naive or painful to read. There is not much to say on the boys so far as this is the first volume but they are really promising and I anticipate lots of amazing character development with them, as well as seeing more of their pasts. The tropes in this volume, although very frequent in shoujo mangas, still had a fun and fresh feel to them. Overall, I have high hopes for this series and will be reading the next instalments asap!!

Thanks to #Netgalley and Kodansha Comics for making this book available to me for an honest review.

Midori has just started high school and on her first day, she is saved from some bullies by Ichijo and his two friends. By the end of the day, she learns more about the small group of friends who apparently are children of very wealthy and well-connected families. The whole school sees them as dangerous and out of their league without actually truly getting to know the boys. Midori thinks that everyone in the school does not know the kindness of the boys' heart

Midori and her brother live with their mother who is working herself to the bone. She is picking up so many shifts at the hospital and Midori believes that she has to help out as much as she can. She has a part-time job that is against her school rules and is unfortunately caught by the chairman of the school board.

He lays out some ultimatums. She is to make sure that the boys (who were suspended because of an event and have yet to return back to school after their suspension ended) come back to school and make sure they sit the midterm exams. OR she gets expelled. She cannot afford to lose her scholarship, so she decides to take the chairman's offer.

But as expected, with a closer relationship with the boys, she finds that she is not only worried about her scholarship, she is also falling in love with Ichijo and his friends.

I am excited for the next volume!

THIS HAS CORGIS!!!! IT'S AWESOME!

This manga gives me similar vibes to Ouran High School Host Club, but instead, they are all loner bad boys.

I enjoyed reading this incredible and I am honestly looking forward to learning more about these guys and watching them develop throughout this series.

Warning, this review will be for the whole series; read at your own risk!

Read 6 volumes

I loved [b:That Wolf-Boy is Mine!, Vol. 1|31455610|That Wolf-Boy is Mine!, Vol. 1|Yoko Nogiri|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1471320261l/31455610._SY75_.jpg|46136134] so I've been wanting to read the author's other works and this one was really good! I love high school romances like this; where it's a semi-slow burn with a fun love triangle. I really feel for Chihiro and I hope he finds someone by the end. I'm really looking forward to reading more!

Edit 4/21/22: Ah yes, meeting the family went poorly and now Nanami finds herself in Ieiri’s arms. I wonder how the next volume will resolve this…

Edit 5/6/22: THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!
