This book had some poignant moments and some moments that made me laugh out loud, but overall this particular blend of pathos and comedy didn't really work for me. I appreciate Rachel Bloom and her work, but this book felt unnecessary.

Ugh I love Rachel Bloom. This was honestly one of the weirdest, funniest, most unpretentious celebrity autobiographies I've read.
Personal highlights for me were the Harry Potter and the Drama Club fanfiction, the night Rachel won a Golden Globe written from her dogs perspective and the musical chapter that you could listen to for free on her website.
Time for another Crazy Ex-Girlfriend rewatch

Rachel is able to mix her internal thoughts/struggless/emotions and comedy in such a seamless way that makes the read fast and fun. There were only a few moments where it felt different/too extreme in my mind but also very crazy ex-girlfriend

I loved Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I like Rachel Bloom. So I expected a lot out of this book. It started off extremely strong; I was laughing aloud. But sadly the laughter ended, the book descending into frenetic happenings and viewpoints. There IS magic in here—-I just wish I had seen more of it.
