I've really been enjoying Rowling's later books--her writing is more complex and poetic, and she is not afraid to go places where her earlier books didn't. She has such a grasp of plot and a talent for weaving myriad elements together almost seamlessly. Great book! I will be sad to see the series end.

Once again: tears.

Reading the book I appreciate Dumbledore a 100x more. Man had sarcastic and hilarious comebacks and was smart as fuck. Movie Dumbledore was a knock-off version from Walmart.

Anyways, the book explains so much about Voldemorts past and the formation of the fellow Death eaters.

Also the villian arc of Snape is much deeper and makes me wanna strangle myself KNOWING what’s coming in the enxt book.

What the fuck is going on. I am so confused. Dumbledore????? Dead??????? What?????????? I just cannot believe it. Wow. I have never pondered so hard after a book. I am baffled. Wow. This shit knocked my socks off. Best book by far BTW.
