I think Clare Pooley is a great writer. I enjoyed this memoir. I appreciate that she provided in depth information about the side effects of drinking. I enjoy learning new information and I did learn a lot with this book. However, it was a bit too long for my taste. It also reminded me of Julie/Julia only sub alcohol in for cooking.
