Intrigue, anticipation, love and happiness. Then utter heartbreak. All in about 400 pages.

Interesting collection of short novellas that I suppose lead into Throne of Glass...at least familiarize us with the main character.
Each story had it's own little flair and peaks and valleys, I'd say the Assassin and the Healer might be the...dullest? but still good in its own right, here's to hoping i come across that character again as i read the remainder of the series.
We've quickly developed the playing board for who is who in this world, who we should trust, who we can not...what games are afoot. It will be interesting to continue on with the series.
