Malfic Mixology just keeps me coming back to reread it. I don't know how many times I've read it since it first released in the Once UPON Academy anthology it just drew me in with the way it was written so beautiful and vivid. The story is just Stunning I just like be Raven and Li Feng. I will be rereading it again soon.
Bird's Eye View by Kerry Evelyn
A boy Reggie who doesn't know he has family and just happens to find out that he is a phoenix shifter under unfortunate circumstances in which his younger brother leaves him to most likely die, and a girl Nettie, Odette's daughter, who hates birds. Nettie is with him through the change even though shes afraid of birds but she just cant be afraid of Reggie.
Song of the Reaper by Stephanie Harrell
When Lyra plays a flute left in her new dorm room she triggers a Family Curse that cause her to become a Reaper. Although her family was trying to protect her if they had told her about the flute she probably would have know what it would do. Though she probably wouldn't have met Cole and learn they ways of the Reaper from him. I really liked this retelling of the Pied Piper and wished there were more
Sense and Sensitivity by Emma Fontaine
Addie was stolen from her parents when she was a baby and given to some great people. When her real parents find her they left her with her father's because she was happy. She has her mother's powers of Sensitivity and meets her real parent when they come to tell her heritage and tell her she can learn to control her powers at Once Upon Academy
Swindled Hearts by Valerie Puri
I really loved this story. Ryder who was raised to be a master thief want to quit stealing and thinks that he can when he gets to go to Once Upon Academy. When he steals a black emerald from Gemma he falls so bad and tries everything to fix it and give her the gem back. I really liked how Gemma told the headmistress that he found it so he wouldn't get expelled.
