I loved this book. Such a cute, romantic novel. Highly recommended & definitely Kendrick's best so far.

The book's cover says "Wicked sense of humor and great wisdom." It has neither. It's a light, easy read that occasionally shows weak humor and recycles some old favorites. She can't teach her dad new tricks. The dogs leashes tangle up possible romantic partners. It felt like a Hallmark movie - and then I noticed that Beth Kendricks wrote "Nearlyweds", which my daughters loved on the Hallmark channel. If Hallmark is a tail-wagger for you, pick up this book.

4 1/2 starts. A light fun read. With two jobs I don't have a lot of time to read. Most of my books these days are audio books. It has been a long time since I had a book that made me drop everything else so that I could finish it. I loved that the main relationship being worked on was between the main character and her mother. My only complaint was that it wasn't long enough. I wanted it to keep going.

I enjoyed this book, and thought it was the perfect quick read. It was sappy cute, and flowed smoothly, with some humor. There were moments that I disliked the characters, but these instances were necessary for their redemption, or they added some good tension. I liked the storyline and had fun reading about the dogs and their owners.

Such a cute read. Gave it to a fellow dog lover friend to read and have a few others on my list to give it to. So cute!

A must for dog lovers. Very much a true to life with dogs these days. If you want mushy romance this isn't it. If you have or had a dog soul mate you will love this!
