This was a cute story but I struggled a bit with the way Gina was treated by everyone - it was a bit over the top. I also had a really hard time picturing what she looked like and tried looking through others reviews for their character pictures. I just can't visualize a girl with a big nose who is so ugly it is constantly mentioned by others and pointed out by the heroes co-workers and others. The story was sweet at times and I liked the main characters.

My first book by Ms Flynn and I actually quite liked it.
I think it was a little different than usual because the heroine wasn't ''hot'' or ''perfect'' but had an imperfection (her nose).
However, I didn't like that she thought less of herself everytime Ford told her she looked beautiful. I get it, that she was hurt in the past because of her looks and that she's doesn't have big self-esteem but it kind of gets annoying if I'm reading about the same thing through the book.
Otherwise, as I said, cute book, I could hardly put it down! I'll be sure on the lookout for the next book :)

The way that they're talking about her looks is gross. I really can't handle it. I remember feeling similarly in Muffin Top, but it's not worth making my way through it.
