Sawyer & Juliet are a match made in safety heaven. Loss will alter the way you think & do things and that’s exactly what’s happened to both of them. It’s so sweet how they each coax each other out of their protectiveness.

Sawyer may just be my new favorite’sweet’ bad boy on the bayou ;)

This book was hot and sweet and spicy all rolled into one story.

I very much enjoyed the ebb and flow of these two characters and how they were just similar enough to click and just different enough to balance each other strengths and weaknesses.

The story was narrated by Gregory Salinas and he was masterful! He slipped into a slight soft southern drawl every now and then and it was so subtle.

Ramona Masters is a new to me narrator and she did a great job in this story. It took me a couple chapters for me to get used to her but I would definitely listen to more of her work

Juliet and Sawyer’s story was fantastic. Juliet comes to Autre after her brother destroys the dock, she wants him to help rebuild it and she meets Sawyer. They have instant chemistry, both Sawyer and Juliet are both cautious due to events in both of their pasts and they bond over it. I love how the trust they have in each other and how they are able to help each other through their troubles. The family dynamic in the story is one of my favorite parts throughout this story and I love how they accept Juliet and her brother immediately. Erin wrote a sweet, steamy, funny that will leave you swooning. This is the third book in the Boys of the Bayou series and can be read/listened to as a standalone. The narration was great. Ramona Master and Gregory Salinas are both new to me and did an amazing job of bringing Juliet and Sawyer to life.

Beauty and the Bayou is the third book in the Boys of the Bayou series. This book is told from Sawyer and Juliet's point of view. Sawyer is not really a people person after an accident left his face scarred. He owns the most part of their company. Juliet's brother messed up part of his dock, so Juliet and her brother end up trying to fix what they could before her brother starts collage.

Sawyer is going through a tough time since his best friend passes away from an accident. Juliet has gone through her own trauma in the past and it's still affecting her to this day.

As they get to know each other feelings start to develop. Juliet is helping Sawyer overcome his overbearing ways, and Sawyer is helping Juliet in some of her own battles.

When her time comes up what will happen to their relationship? I really enjoyed this book, and can not wait until the next one in the series. How does Juliet's brother come out in the end, since he was a little punk in the last book?

I love the Bayou

I was soo glad to see Sawyer her his happily ever after after everything he went through with the past 9 months. Juliet is everything he needs to get back to the “old Sawyer”. Juliet’s over compensation for her stroke at at young age makes Sawyers over protective nature, especially since he lost Tommy, stop and take notice. You would think that two over protective and cautious people would be over cautious together but Sawyer seems to notice how over the top he was and how he treated everyone. With Juliet’s help he over comes his fears as well as help Juliet trust hat someone else can help with out hovering. Loved this book can’t wait until the next book in the series!

Definitely an unique chemistry between Juliet and Sawyer. I dig it. These two complemented each other well. I’m glad they found each other, because they made each other stronger and braver. With their past traumas, I wish therapy had at least been suggested. The fact that it wasn’t represented at all was disappointing. Both could have benefitted from it.

I loved how dynamic the main characters were. They had unique pasts that were well developed. Juliet’s bravery, despite her fears, was so admirable. Sawyer was quietly protective, without being overbearing like a lot of alpha heroes are. He was sexy too. I just wish we’d gotten to see more of his dominant side.

“You must have gotten into trouble a lot.” He winked. “J’ai adoré chaque minute.”

Beauty and the Bayou is a fun opposites-attract romantic comedy about a grumpy boat captain and an overly safe woman determined to fix her brother's mistake.

Sawyer has been grumpy and overly safe ever since his buddy had a freak accident. His family has been giving him his space but they miss the old Sawyer. When he walks out to the docks and finds a woman standing on his dock in hip waders and a life jacket he is not sure what to do. Juliet has come to the Bayou to help rebuild the dock that her brother destroyed. As the first person in a long time to not be intimidated by Sawyer, she may just be the one to heal his broken heart.

The Boys of the Bayou continue to get better with every book. Sawyer and Juliet were the perfect pair. Little miss safety always attempted to be safe but every time she got close to Sawyer, she would still get hurt. As usual, the entire Landry crew is right there to meddle in everything. I truly love this family and with every book, I want to visit the bayou more and more.

Audio: Another amazing job by Gregory Salinas bringing grumpy Sawyer to life. This was my first experience with Ramona and I enjoyed her as Juliet.

I love the Boys of the Bayou series, and each book gets better and better. The culture is so unique and the characters in this story are spot on with the hunky Landry boys and the wonderful small town family and friends. They are just a crazy, wonderful family and I adore them and their antics!

I was so looking forward to reading Sawyer’s book and I definitely was not disappointed! From the moment Sawyer and Juliet met, it was evident they were what the other needed and wanted. Their banter is hilarious and their chemistry is explosive. From Sawyer and Juliet's very first meeting until the very last page I had happy feels throughout. I enjoyed every moment of their story.

Beauty and The Bayou is Erin Nicholas at her finest. Characters who are warm and funny, sincere and quirky and oh-so-real. Chemistry that leaps off the pages. Fantastic storytelling. Heartfelt emotions. Humor. This book has it all. It's the ultimate feel good read. Cannot wait for the next one!

Once again, Erin Nicholas shows me why she has become a fast favorite of mine and delivers an incredible read. This is the third book to the series and it can be read as a standalone, which is what I have done and even though I feel like I may be missing some things, I still think this is epic and I will be going to book 1 and reading the series in order.

Erin isn't new to me but this series is. I have always loved Erin's style of writing, she has a way of sucking you in hard and not letting go until the end of the book and days after you will find yourself thinking about her words.

This was like a Beauty and The Beast story but with major plot twists.

Juliet was a heroine you cannot help but fall in love with. Everything about spoke volume. Though at times she could be a little naive (Can't we all?) she was also a kind-hearted, fierce, loving and sweet girl that in no way would let someone walk all over her. She protective as hell and will always stick up and be there for those dearest to her.

Sawyer was jaded, he has demons and he was living them daily. You can physically see his demons. After a tragedy happens and he is left with disfigured, and he becomes a shadow of the man he once was.

Sawyer and Juliet together were epic. The moment these two met, I just knew they were meant for each other. They drew strength off each other. Juliet was extremely protective of Sawyer and Sawyer was protective of her. It was always in Sawyers natural to be anyway. So when it came to her... It only heightened. These two both had issues, but when it came to them together. They had a way of bringing light out in each other.

The growth between them both as one and apart as this book progressed was something special to read. I was completely addicted. This book was fun. It had me laughing most the way through, yet it holds more than that. It was a mixture of comedy, heartfelt and heat with twists added in.

After sitting on this for a few days after reading it, I have come to the point where I won't be diving in deep and giving you every damn detailed... I will leave you with this.

JUST READ THE BOOK!!! You will not be disappointed!

5 Stars!

I really have been wanting to see this story more from Sawyer's point of view. There just seemed to be so much there. I'm glad I got the chance to see it. I love this series completely!
