3.78 AVERAGE

Typical Sookie Stackhouse fare, if a little more predictable (I ID'ed the bad guys pretty quickly) and with fewer, um, 'romantic' interludes.

The series continues. The mystery was good but was put off until the end and most of the book was about the politics of a new werewolf packmaster being chosen, Debbie Pelt's death, and shifter business. Sookie's love life gets really crowded in this part.

Needed more vampire sexytime and less werewolves fighting.

I am loving this series! I just started the tv show and like it, too. The books are different. A lot lighter.

Ahhh I'm dying here. Why can't she just be with Sam? I about threw a happy fit when they were in his office together, but nooo. Someone had to ruin it. I am less and less a fan of Bill!

I think this one was probably my favorite so far. writing is still average but I am really enjoying the story.

Not as good as the last one, but still a quick read :) I have one more Sookie book to read (until I get more) and then I will concentrate on reading a few more "serious" books.

I liked learning more about the Weres and Eric is getting more intriguing. However, I do not like how Sookie has so many potential suitors. Granted, I like all of them, except for Calvin. I wish she was in a relationship with a least someone! I can't decide between Bill, Eric, and Alcide. She could speed date all of them!
