The story subject seems like it could be really morbid, but I actually found it more optimistic!

It surprised me seeing a character who wanted to die not because something bad happened to her, but because she just didn't have any reason to live for. To some this would sound so stupid, but for the longest time this was my situation. I'm glad that I can't relate to her anymore but it still hit too close to home. Outside of that, the book didn't catch me that much, maybe it was too cheesy or absurd at some points for me. I got into this book being a little bit scared because male authors trying to write female characters tend to dissapoint me and sadly this wasn't the exception. I'm still disgusted with that encounter between Veronika and Eduard, even if at the end he wasn't "in another world" like she said, it wasn't okay. Finally, I couldn't believe that was the end, it was so boring and unfinished.
