I DNF this one at 80% (lol don't give me that look). I do plan to finish the series and will give an in depth review at that time!!

This one is heavy on the fantasy and paranormal and so far in my opinion had 0 romance, which didn't bother me because the story is interesting. There are like 4 or 5 books though and I wasn't feeling it at the time so decided to come back to this one later.

The MMC is essentially a shadowhands so, these are quick reads and I am secretly hoping romance comes soon haha.

Loved the first one, loved the second one and I’m sure I’ll love the third. I’ve been captivated by the series. It’s a fast paced book and perfect to introduce/re-introduce yourself back into fantasy. No overly complicated words or worlds. Would recommend 100%
