My one complaint is that I wish this book were longer but I also recognize that it is the perfect length for what is being accomplished. It doesn't feel rushed, nor did I feel like there were elements that were underdeveloped. This was a delightful read that I got through in an afternoon and I definitely intend to reread it at some point.

Fast-paced, interesting, and witty. Cho proves with this novella why well-written characters and banter that amuses; encased in a story of a country clutched in the hand of a war that threatens their way of life and beliefs can be just as rewarding as a novel.
Throw in bands of rebels who play both sides, others who fight in the shadow for freedom, and action that is propulsive and addictive, you get a tale that holds the attention from start to finish, with a twist that was as surprising as it was satisfying.
