The kiwi-isms threw me off, since this was set in America. Other than that, it was a cute fun lil story. No spice.

I was over the moon when I found out there was going to be sapphic, Jennifer’s Body inspired vampire story coming out because that’s my all-time favorite horror film. I was even more excited that I. S. Belle was writing it, since I loved her Babylove series. And Honeybloods did not disappoint. The powerful but complicated friendship, Diablo Codyesque humor, and “good for her” vibes of Jennifer’s Body are all there, but with enough changes and additions that it didn’t feel like a mere retelling. There also were some great Twilight jokes scattered throughout. Such a fun, entertaining novella. I had a grin plastered on my face the entire time I was reading.
